The key purpose of the role is for the Outreach Officer to recruit suitably qualified students to programmes of study at GSM London, enabling them to make informed choices throughout the applicant journey. Building brand awareness and developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate decision makers within schools/colleges, external organisations and community groups, the position works closely with GSM London’s Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions teams and contributes to the overall marketing and recruitment strategy of GSM London.
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level or possess relevant equivalent experience in Further or Higher education sector. Experience of working within the outreach or student recruitment environment will be a distinct advantage, as will a proven track record in networking and demonstrable experience in forming effective partnerships with external organisations. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are paramount to succeed in this role, coupled with the ability to be analytical, conceptual and be able to problem solve in a fast paced environment.
