An ambitious university, UWE Bristol is committed to advancing knowledge, inspiring people and transforming futures. To this end, we are continuing with an ambitious £200m planned investment in our estate infrastructure and staff to further advance our learning, teaching, scholarship and internationally recognised practice-led research.
To support UWE Bristol’s 2020 Strategy we are making a number of strategic ‘new blood’ appointments across the university to develop our capacity in key areas. These posts include a 50% research allocation for the first three years and will be expected to make a significant contribution to our research profile and external engagement activities.
Within the Faculty of Business and Law, we are looking to appoint an Associate Professor in Strategy and Enterprise. You will join the Department of Business and Management and will support the research and teaching excellence of the Strategy and Operations Management cluster and the newly formed Innovation, Operations Management and Supply (IOMS) group.
You will be expected to develop a body of research published in recognised peer review outlets, bring in external research income, support knowledge exchange activities and contribute to undergraduate, post-graduate and/or executive education.
You will have a PhD in strategy or enterprise, or a related field.
We would welcome applications from candidates with expertise in strategic management, enterprise and entrepreneurship, innovation and technology management and/or related fields, with a demonstrable track record of research, business/community engagement and teaching.
