We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join the Department of Engineering Design and Mathematics at UWE Bristol. Successful applicants will need to have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or hold CEng status. A teaching qualification is desirable, but at least some experience of teaching in higher education is essential.
This post will focus on teaching and supporting students on BEng/MEng programmes in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and Masters level teaching in Mechanical Engineering. Particular teaching specialisms within mechanical engineering we are seeking include structures, dynamics and control. Current areas of research strength in the department include engineering modeling and simulation, machine vision, robotics and automotive engineering. There are opportunities to work with industry on knowledge exchange projects.
