We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate who will take a key role in the delivery and further development of the department and organisation.
A recently developed leadership position, the Principal Lecturer will work closely with their Head of Department to advance the Marketing Department. Immediate priorities include the development of new, and a review of existing, undergraduate and postgraduate marketing programmes as well as the development of international partnerships and opportunities for student exchanges and professional relationships.
The role also incorporates academic management, such as staff recruitment and induction, training, coaching and development, management of individual academic and team performance.
In the longer term we seek to deepen links with industry professionals and professional bodies as well as further the development of innovative teaching methodologies.
The Principal Lecturer will be working with and leading a friendly, lively and diverse team. These highly-motivated and enthusiastic staff, they are dedicated to helping students succeed.
A dynamic and fast moving organisation, we have grown enormously since our foundation 6 years ago. Now offering 18 different degree programmes, many accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, to around 1300 students from a range of different nationalities, we aspire to even further development.

We need a self-motivated individual who can both deliver a quality learning experience for students and inspire the team of marketing lecturers. You should have enthusiasm for practice-based learning, being able to synergise theory into practice and can use and develop a range of learning strategies to support the best student experience. Ideally you will have experience in academic line management, the role requires someone with confidence and competence in academic management, including areas such as staff recruitment and induction, training, coaching and development, management of academic quality and of individual and team performance.
We have particular interest in candidates who can teach in two or more of a range of relevant areas:
- Strategic Marketing
- Retail and Services Marketing
- Consumer Behaviour
- Digital Marketing
- Marketing Communications
