Applications are sought for a Research Technician to provide technical support to the ongoing biomarker discovery and validation research. The research will be based in the Centre for Molecular Oncology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
The post holder must have a BSc or equivalent in a biological or related science. Essential requirements for this post include experience of working in a biomedical research laboratory, as well as experience in human clinical sample collection and laboratory molecular medical research. Knowledge in the field of human cancer research would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to understand the research questions, communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.
