The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual as Experimental Officer in the Division of Information Engineering, covering subject areas of control, robotics, communications and signal processing.
The post holder will have responsibility for the development and delivery of laboratory-based teaching for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and projects and will support academic staff with on-going research activities and projects.
You will provide support in the design and implementation of control systems, analogue and digital electronic systems and communication systems and in the use of engineering software tools for design, modelling and simulation (control, robotics, communications and systems design). You will also be a point of contact for technical expertise in the division relating to experimental activities and development of systems in both hardware and software.
