Post Doctoral Research Associate

Temporary contract for 24 months

You will play a key role in designing, building and testing a volatiles detection package intended for use on the ‘LUVMI’ system on the Moon. To be effective in the role, you will have experience of designing and undertaking testing of instrumentation in simulated terrestrial environments, and will hold (or will shortly be obtaining) a PhD in Physics, Planetary Science or Engineering. You will be expected to contribute to the dissemination of the results through publications and presentation at conferences and must therefore have the ability to communicate research results effectively in a variety of contexts.
