The Department of Primary Care Health Sciences is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the department administration team, providing support in all aspects of departmental financial administration.

Responsibilities will include processing all day-to-day transactions including purchasing, payments and receivables, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in line with University financial controls.

We are looking for someone educated to A-level or equivalent, with previous experience in a financial role and expertise in Excel. Attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with people at all levels are essential. You will also have excellent organisation skills with a flexible and positive approach.

An AAT (or equivalent) qualification and experience with Oracle would be an advantage.

The post is permanent and available full-time.
