Employment & Placements Advisor (SME Degree Apprenticeship)

Salary: £32,004 - £34,956 pa with potential to progress to £38,183 pa on achieving designated skills and experience

We are looking for a proactive team member to join the Careers and Employment Service and contribute to providing a wide range of employment support services to UH students and graduates.

The role will primarily consist of liaison with a wide range of local, national and international organisations to secure and maintain degree apprenticeships, work experience, placement & graduate positions. This post will have a particular emphasis on building relationships with SMEs to increase numbers of recruitment opportunities for UH students and graduates. It will also focus on raising awareness of degree apprenticeships. 

The successful candidate will source new organisations to work with and proactively follow up leads. The role carries a strong emphasis on networking and will require the post holder to travel within the UK.   

The role requires strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. Candidates must be comfortable working independently to meet targets and find creative solutions to establish new business relationships.
