Project Manager - Student Advice Service

University of Bristol - Strategic Projects Office

The University of Bristol seeks an experienced Project Manager for a post that will play a key implementation role in delivering our Student Advice Service, a ‘one stop shop’ for all non-academic advice and information for our students and prospective students. This is a varied and interesting role, delivering project results in an exciting initiative supporting the strategic aims of the University.

You will have sound knowledge and experience of project management, using PRINCE 2 methodology, or equivalent, and you’ll know when and how to adapt it to suit your project and key stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a wide range of staff, including very senior colleagues and external stakeholders. You’ll be committed to ensuring that results are planned and delivered with the full engagement and commitment of all staff. You will also be able to collate, analyse and report on a range of data for a range of audiences. Experience of delivering and implementing online systems would be an advantage.

The post is available on an open ended, fixed funding, full time basis starting as soon as possible, until 31st October 2019. For project critical reasons successful candidates must be available straight away or not more than three months from offer.
