The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 to £39,324 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.
The successful candidate will join the TEL Team at the English Language Centre which has the aim of supporting the use and development of technology to enhance learning and teaching. More specifically, the role will entail project managing the design and development of multiple online learning objects supporting international students develop their academic language and study skills. The candidate will take the lead on working with SMEs on the design of a learning object, media production, and develop the lesson using an e-learning development tools. The TEL Team's remit is challenging and exciting encompassing the development of cutting edge distance learning programmes, flipping existing face-to-face lessons, and working with marketing to promote the ELC.
The successful candidate will first and foremost be a creative problem solver who has the ability to think outside the box. They will have an excellent eye for detail, be passionate about user experience, and confident at contributing to any given project. They will have a working knowledge of rapid development software, along with the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and VLEs and be keen to upskill in each. They will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working with others to produce and edit high quality video and audio objects. Finally, they thrive off working in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment dedicated to supporting students and teachers.
This is a full time, indefinite post at 35 hours per week.
The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview. Interviews will be scheduled after the shortlisting process and you be will be notified via email.
