Project and Administration Officer

University of Nottingham - Campaign and Alumni Relations Office

Location: University Park
Salary: £22494 to £26829 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post, based at our University Park campus. In 2011, the University launched an ambitious fundraising campaign, Impact: The Nottingham Campaign. Having raised its £150m target in philanthropic support early in 2016, the Campaign now aims to reach a new total of £200m and to engage 1,000 volunteers by July 2017. This post is key to its successful delivery.

The Project and Administration Officer will support a range of exciting cross-team projects and will have responsibility for ensuring the smooth running and compliance of Campaign and Alumni Relations Office (CARO) operational processes, with a focus on those relating to human resources and training and development.

The role-holder will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy Director of CARO (Operations) and the Director of Supporter Engagement. The workload of the Directors is enormously varied and fast-paced and it is essential that the role-holder has the ability to manage their own workload with minimum supervision.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting business change projects and of working with senior management as a Personal Assistant/Team Administrator in a busy office environment. Candidates must be able to work independently and effectively, accurately and calmly under pressure, demonstrating high levels of tact, discretion and diplomacy.

The role is based within CARO’s Administration Team, reporting to the Project and Administration Manager.

Interviews will take place 6 January 2017.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Caledonia Keetley, tel: 0115 7484981 or email Caledonia.Keetley@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
