Leeds Law School is investing in academic provision and seeking to appoint two academic staff at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic academics to make a key contribution to our academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise.
The successful candidates will be expected to teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and should have experience of teaching at least 2 of the foundation subjects; it would be a distinct advantage if candidates could teach on either property or criminal law.
Applicants must also be research active, preferably in any of the following areas:
- Criminal Justice
- International Human Rights
- Legal Education
- Equality Law
Those applying for Senior Lecturer roles should have significant educational administrative experience and been involved with drafting research bids.
Applicants must also possess a doctorate and have a commitment to provide high quality teaching at all levels.
Occasional overseas travel may be required.
