This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, professional team working with key stakeholders inside and outside the University to deliver a range of events designed to convert the highest calibre applicants.
The UK Student Recruitment Team is responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of key recruitment and widening participation outreach initiatives at the University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Such initiatives include the University Open Days, attendance at school and college events across the country as well as widening participation outreach set out in the University’s Access Agreement.
The successful applicant will work with the Events Manager and other WP Officers encourage applications from high calibre students from a diverse range of backgrounds, as well as undertake a number of conversion activities and the development and delivery of such initiatives. They will also lead on the University’s activities at UCAS fairs, including recruiting and training student ambassadors.
The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills, be committed to achieving a range of recruitment targets and be flexible and hard working.
