Research on ‘What Works for Wellbeing: Communities’
The Geography Department at Durham University seeks to appoint a Research Associate (RA) to work on a project forming part of the wider What Works for Wellbeing programme, funded by ESRC. This project is examining especially how wellbeing may be affected by the conditions in communities (rather than focussing only on individual and family factors).
For further details regarding this post please contact Professor Sarah Atkinson Email: email@example.com, Tel: 0191 3341871.
The RA will help to explore how far existing statistical data sets, which include data on wellbeing for large population samples, can help us to understand what helps to improve wellbeing or maintain high levels of wellbeing. The RA will contribute particularly to an exploration of what we can learn from existing sources about change in wellbeing and in the community determinants of wellbeing.
