Salary Details: Grade 7 £40,523 - £48,327 per annum, with £2,623 London Weighting allowance.
Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Theoretical Physics in the Department of Mathematics at King's College London, to be taken up no later than 1st September 2017. Candidates are expected to have research expertise in some area of theoretical physics and should have the potential to carry out research which has high levels of originality, innovation and depth that may well lead to significant impact on their field over the long term.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Contribute to the research activity of the Department, maintaining a track record of research of international excellence
- Take part in teaching and examining for the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes, and to supervise research students in the Department.
- Make a contribution to the academic organisation of the Department.
Detailed duties are allocated by the Head of Department. The post is based at the Strand campus of King’s College London.
