At BCU we are embarking upon an exciting expansion of our Faculty of Health, Education, and Life Sciences. We will have a new building, a series of new programmes, and up to 1000 new students. Do you want to be part of this?
To enable our ground-breaking strategy we need the right people to join our Academic Services Team. The Faculty is already established as an excellent provider of education, nursing, midwifery and allied health professions training. Over the next three years, starting September 2017, we will grow our academic and student community via the delivery of new programmes, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sport and exercise science, and will do this all in a brand new state-of-the-art building. Are you an experienced, professional, and tenacious administrator? Are you motivated by challenge, driven by innovation, and excited by new opportunities? If so then we want you in our team.
We have three vacancies for Programme Administrators all based at our City South Campus in Edgbaston. These roles will grow along with our new student numbers, eventually becoming dedicated roles for the School of Health Sciences. As the School grows though, you will work closely with the growing academic community to plan and shape our new provision and processes required to support that. At the same time, to ensure your ongoing development and to keep you in touch with processes and people you will hold a smaller portfolio of programmes in another School within the Faculty.
Academic Services is dedicated to staff development. In addition to the University’s extensive staff development offering we deliver our own ASPIRE programme focussed on supporting our team to excel. You will receive a detailed induction, a buddy or mentor, a supportive 1:1 system, and an annual appraisal. Most of all, you will be joining large, diverse, and supportive team.
