The role of Institute Officer contributes to the effective and efficient delivery of the education, research and knowledge transfer work of this dynamic, multicultural Institute by carrying out a diverse range of administrative and support activities. You will have specific responsibilities for coordinating the work of the Institute with doctoral students (based in Edinburgh and overseas) and providing project management support to the growing range of research projects based in the Institute.
You will be educated to HNC level or above and have relevant experience in an administrative role. You will have excellent organisational skills, and pay attention to detail and accuracy. Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and the internet, are essential. This position is available immediately. We will consider flexibility in the working pattern for this part-time position.
