High Performance Advisor

Wakefield College

Could you help accelerate College improvements, using your teaching experience to support and challenge our curriculum areas? Are you passionate about developing and delivering, outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in a College environment?

Wakefield College is well-led, ambitious and recognised by Ofsted as ‘good‘. The college is growing, and delivers high curriculum achievement and sound financial returns.

To support our focus on becoming an outstanding provider of college education we’re establishing a brand new team of High Performance Advisors. Working under the leadership of our Executive Director Quality and Planning, our Advisors will use their teaching experience and understanding of excellence to drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment.

Working in a cross-College capacity our Advisors will work closely with teachers, managers and leaders to identify where improvements can be secured and then to plan and deliver those improvements.

We’re looking for highly experienced teachers who are passionate about the learning experience and quality of education, and understand the difference between good and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment in both FE and HE.

In addition, you should also demonstrate:

  • A strong track record of delivering continuing professional development to teachers which has resulted in improvement
  • An understanding of the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework
  • An understanding of leading edge theories, including eLearning
  • Excellent communication  and interpersonal skills

See what we have to offer and come and join us. You won’t be disappointed.
