Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES) was recently judged by Ofsted Inspection as “officially good and on our way to outstanding” and is the largest local authority adult education service in London and one of the largest in the country. We offer a large range of diverse programmes of further education qualification courses and employer-based training as well as extensive community based provision. We have a diverse, enthusiastic student community, taught and supported by well qualified, dedicated staff. Our three main centres in Westminster are modern, easily accessible and purpose built, offering high quality teaching and learning facilities.  

We are looking for Part Time Tutors and Assessors who are focused on learner achievement to deliver on our programmes at venues across Westminster:

  • English and Maths (Functional Skills)- Tutor
  • ESOL- Tutor

We are also looking for Tutors to teach GCSE Maths & English (ideally on a Tuesday evening but can be flexible)

The Role

You will need to be an inspirational, flexible and motivated teacher with a minimum of a full Level 5 teaching qualification and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your teaching specialism.

Rate of Pay-  £25.13 per hour.

Various daytime, evening and weekend hours available
