Summary of role

Required to rigorously manage the sales pipeline for the short courses and postgraduate courses in VFX, Animation, Game Art and Motion Graphics at Escape Studios. This includes pre-sales activity, open day presentations, contacting potential students by phone or in person.

Key responsibilities

  • Meticulously follow up with training enquiries for full time and part time courses, recording all activity appropriately within the CRM system.
  • Proactively build knowledge of the VFX industry and develop sales techniques and methods for closing a sale.
  • Supporting open day presentations and conducting one to one meetings.
  • Maintain recruitment related documentation and processes.
  • Build relationships with students to support sales and marketing activity
  • Exceed revenue targets.
  • Engaging in outreach activity engaging schools, colleges, universities and industry as appropriate (ie fairs, presentations, workshops, tasters, festivals, events).
  • Manage the admissions mailbox and action queries in a timely manner
  • Responsible for liaising with other departments to process postgraduate applications and offers.

Competencies

Essential:

  • A desire to work in a target driven, sales environment
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage an individual sales pipeline for VFX, Games, Animation or Motion Graphics.
  • Clear interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with tact and diplomacy with a wide range of people.
  • Naturally methodical, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • An understanding of the pipelines for VFX, Animation, Games and Motion Graphics.

Qualifications

Education

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent

IT Literacy

Essential:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • CRM/Database experience

Previous Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in phone sales, email communications and in person sales conversations
  • Experience working in a VFX, animation, motion graphics or games environment
