The Faculty of Arts & Humanities has a vacancy for a Senior Technician with significant Screen Printing experience in managing and running a Screen Print workshop.
A working knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator is desirable.
Our highly skilled and dedicated team of specialist technicians support the teaching, learning and research of the Faculty across a variety of undergraduate and post-graduate disciplines. You will be required to order and manage stock materials, produce workshop resources/guidance for Moodle (VLE) and therefore must be numerate, literate and accurate with English.
Additionally, the role will directly support other colleagues within and outside of the Faculty in the preparation of materials in other Faculty workshops, as well as in supporting students and staff in Faculty shows and exhibitions.
Furthermore, in addition to the main Senior Technician role, there will also be an opportunity, dependent upon training, for you to undertake workshop demonstrations.
