Administrative Assistant: Education Services and Support

The successful applicant will join a team of administrators acting as the interface for students, staff and external agencies. Duties of the role include support for assessments, support for teaching delivery and more widely general support for undergraduate programmes. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring key tasks are completed in line with key performance targets and for developing a thorough working knowledge of processes and procedures to ensure a consistent and effective service delivery.

This is an exciting role which will enable the successful applicant to develop and shape the professional services support for undergraduate programmes in line with the University’s strategy of delivering an excellent student experience. The role involves dealing with matters of a confidential and personal nature on a daily basis. The ability to think creatively, to communicate well and collate and disseminate information is also vital. 

The successful applicant should have wide ranging communication skills sufficient to generate and foster good working relationships in order to effectively manage and support change.
