Salary: £24,565 - £26,052 (with progression to £28,452)

You will provide support in the manufacture and operation of precision test machines designed, built and operated by Design Unit. Specifically the role could include the manufacture, assembly and operation of precision gear test machines and the manufacture of precision test gears.

You should have an HNC or equivalent qualification in a manufacturing or other appropriate engineering subject.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills. Have the appropriate practical and conceptual technical skills and the enthusiasm and ability to work under your own initiative as well as being a team player. You will have experience of CAD/CAM processes and technical experience in a role involved in production and assembly of precision engineering artefacts. You should be willing to undertake training in Gear Geometry, Gear Metrology, Instrumentation and Gear Failure Analysis and the ability to work on-site at client premises when required in the UK and abroad.
