Digital Support Officer

As the Digital Support Officer you will provide a helpful and responsive support service to staff and students using and maintaining the University’s website, intranet and other digital services. Your outstanding customer service skills will enable you to handle queries efficiently within agreed service levels, providing clear advice and always keeping customers informed of progress.

As our dedicated supporter you’ll manage our web-based support system, analyse and report on support trends and use governance tools to monitor overall site quality.
You’ll be an excellent troubleshooter who can resolve common/minor issues independently but who also knows when to escalate problems to your colleagues. You’ll be expected to have a good all-round knowledge of website production, particularly in an environment with a large number of devolved authors. Working alongside a team of developers, designers and content producers you’ll have good communication skills and the desire to learn about a multitude of systems and processes

The post is Full time,  Fixed Term until 31/07/17
