Senior Lecturer in Advancing Practice (Physician Associate)

We are at the cutting edge of new role development in South Yorkshire as we have pioneered the launch of physician associate education in this area. We are a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high quality research informed teaching, to ensure active learning for an exciting new health profession.

Now we're looking for a senior lecturer to join our physician associate team. You'll have a broad academic remit, including:

  • Planning, delivering and evaluating teaching and learning.
  • Supporting students.
  • Scholarly activity.

In the main this will be for the physician associate course but can also include our popular advanced practice and health CPD provision.

We're looking for someone who combines a strong clinical background and the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with students, partners and other clients from a range of different backgrounds.

You'll also need to be a registered physician associate or medical professional with either a postgraduate qualification or substantial professional experience. We're also looking for someone with experience of teaching or training in either a clinical practice or academic environment.
