The School of Social Work undertakes teaching, research and professional service in the fields of Social Work and Social Policy.
Applications are invited for appointment of a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy on the Albany campus. This is a full-time, on-going position. Applicants are expected to possess a PhD, and be competent and registered social workers who are able to teach into the degree and diploma courses supported by the Social Work and Social Policy programme.
Preference may be given to those who have experience in child and family social work and can teach across social work theory and practice, social policy and field education papers. The School's programmes are delivered in both internal and distance (extramural) modes, so that experience in teaching online as well as at tertiary level will also be an advantage. The research and teaching specialisations of the appointee should complement and reinforce the existing strengths of the School of Social Work.
Enquiries can be directed to Associate Professor Kieran O’Donoghue, Head of School, e-mail K.B.ODonoghue@massey.ac.nz
Electronic applications are preferred by means of the Massey University website. All applications should include a letter of application, full Curriculum Vitae, and the names of three referees (with full contact details). These should be submitted before the closing date 9 January 2017.
Closing date: 9 January 2017
Reference number: A521-16SF
