This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty Employability Unit within our faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences.
The Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences offers an innovative learning environment, as well as outstanding facilities and resources. BLSS specialise in the fields of business, law, criminology, sociology and psychology, and have a strong record of teaching, research and consultancy.
With a focus on supporting students and graduates to achieve positive destinations, and significantly increasing the number of students undertaking work based learning and work experience opportunities during their studies, Faculty Employability Advisors provide a high quality, professional, student focused service linking our student and graduate talent to practice based opportunities.
Extensive experience of working with employers is essential, as is experience of supporting students in being professionally ready to enter the workplace and providing first-line advice and guidance. Good written and verbal communication skills and a high standard of IT skills are essential, as is the ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise different tasks and meeting deadlines.
