Lecturer in Sport (14 hours per week)

This position is fixed term up until the 30th June 2017.

Calderdale College is looking to recruit a MGL to deliver on our Sport Study Programmes. You will need a relevant vocational qualification in the subject area of Sport and experience of delivering teaching and learning in an FE college.

You will support the Science and Health Industries curriculum area and support the teaching and learning in Sport.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and creative teacher to deliver within our provision. You will also contribute to the assessment within the programme area. You will need to be creative, innovative and resilient and should have the ability to deliver excellence in teaching and learning, retention and achievement. You will also bring a high level of organisation and flexibility to the role. Experience of Key/basic skills will be a distinct advantage.

You must have a PGCE/Certificate in Education, or willing to work towards and ideally have experience of teaching in an FE environment
