Technology Transfer Officer (Physical Sciences and Engineering)

The primary responsibility of this post is to support and conduct technology transfer in the College of Physical Sciences and Engineering in order to demonstrate the utility and impact of intellectual property generated from their research by working to develop the significant potential that exists to generate income from the commercial exploitation of their research outcomes.  The post is based in the Commercial Development section in the Department of Research and Innovation Services (RIS) and the post holder will work closely with other staff with responsibility for the identification, evaluation and exploitation of commercial opportunities arising from the University’s research programmes.

This post is fixed term and is available from 1 February 2017 (12 months maternity cover)
