We are looking to recruit a Research Scientist (Postdoctoral Research Assistant or Research Assistant level) who can work independently to implement a research study investigating psychological influences upon symptom perception in asthma, with Professor Kyle Pattinson's research group.
Your duties will include running a behavioural study in people with asthma and co-ordinating public and patient engagement activities. This will also involve managing your own academic research and administrative activities including small scale project management to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
We are looking for an individual with experience of running behavioural or physiology experiments in human participants, and who would be comfortable working with NHS patients. An excellent undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. neuroscience, biology etc.) and the ability to manage the day-to-day running of a research project is essential. A background in psychology or physiology would be helpful.
Informal enquiries to Professor Pattinson (firstname.lastname@example.org) are particularly welcome.
