This is a varied role that will require the appointed individual to work closely with a number of University-appointed overseas representatives from around the world. Overseas representatives (agents) help to recruit on average around 25% of the University’s international full-time student intake each year and the University currently works with over 70 representatives worldwide.
The role-holder will work as part of the International Office’s Admissions Team. This team manages the University’s relationship with international recruitment agents and processes all incoming applications and related enquiries for full degree programmes in a timely, customer focussed fashion. Outstanding customer service delivery and a drive for speed and quality of process and response is key.
The role-holder will assist in the liaison and relationship management of contracted international recruitment agents, requiring significant day-to-day liaison regarding applicants from overseas. This will involve regular correspondence with agency staff and University departments such as Admissions.
In addition, the role-holder will carry out data analysis of annual student intake figures through overseas representatives to help manage performance and ensure effectiveness of operations. Monthly reports regarding agent application trends versus previous years/points in the recruitment cycle will also be required. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collating and disseminating agent communications, liaising with schools, departments and professional service units to collate content. On-going maintenance and management of online and digital information resources for overseas representatives will be required to ensure agents are well-informed about university processes and programmes.
The role-holder will support International Officers’ overseas travel by providing agent specific intelligence and arrange incoming visits from overseas representatives as required.
Additional administrative support and other project work may also be required. Team work is an essential element of the success of the International Office and working with other Teams during busy periods will also be required.
Informal enquiries may be addressed to Ryan Parker, tel: 0115 95 15244 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
The University of Nottingham is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
