Your role - Associate Dean of Education

Your role will involve working closely with the Dean to develop our portfolio of programmes. This will involve providing academic leadership and strategic direction for our educational mission. Focused on delivering student satisfaction and enhancing our performance in the Teaching Excellence Framework, you will also assist in the strategic management of the School, as well as the implementation of our academic activities, in collaboration with other senior members of staff.

Your profile

You need to bring us a PhD and a professional qualification in a relevant business subject area, and you will have a strong record of research or professional practice in an area covered by the Business School. It is also essential that you have high level analytical skills, and significant experience of academic administration. This could include programme leadership, quality assurance, marketing or curriculum development, together with business planning and resource management skills. You will also have the knowledge to implement strategic initiatives targeted at key issues currently affecting higher education.
