Uxbridge College is a highly successful FE College based in West London, and we are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our busy HR Team. Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely payment of College employees (currently around 500 permanent and 40 casual) and for the auto enrolment of new staff to the Teachers Pension Scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme. You will also deal with pay and pension queries from employees across the College.
You should possess a good standard of education and have strong numeracy skills. You should possess at least four years’ current payroll experience in a corporate environment, including working with a computerised payroll system (preferably Midland iTrent), and experience of being responsible for a payroll of around 400+ employees. You will be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload and meet payroll deadlines.
