Teaching Secretary (MBChB Programme)

You will provide general secretarial and administrative support for the MBChB programme and work in particular with the Year 1 team and new medical students to ensure they are supported throughout their first year of study on the medicine degree.
This is an interesting and complex post with interaction with colleagues across the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition and also NHS Grampian. It offers the opportunity to develop and broaden your organisational and communication skills. As the teaching secretary you will be a full member of the year executive group and will take a very proactive role in the planning and organisation of teaching.
Given the focus on support for teaching and learning we are looking for someone who enjoys working with students and really cares about enhancing the experience of all who study on our healthcare programmes.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 4 (£21,843 to £25,298 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience. This appointment will be made subject to the usual terms and conditions of employment of the University.
