The post holder will have a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience of teaching university students. They will be required to support the continuing academic developments within the Department. This post will support the delivery of business modules. We have recently revalidated our programmes and the post-holder will contribute to the new degrees, including BA Business. An ability to teach on at least two of the following modules is required:
- Business strategy;
- Business operations and systems;
- Contemporary business issues;
- Creative problem solving.
In addition to teaching, candidates will also be expected to contribute to the research activities undertaken within the Department and to assist in the ongoing management of our programmes. Candidates will need to be familiar with research methods and will possess a doctorate, be nearing completion, or committed to enrolling on one.
