We are seeking two Lecturers to join our team of over 40 academics. The successful candidates will be those who show the greatest potential to research, teach, supervise, tutor and participate in appropriate departmental administrative roles, while adding to the breadth and depth of research and teaching skills within the team. Candidates should be well positioned to be returned under REF2021, and should have experience of teaching at the undergraduate level. In terms of research area, we are more concerned with excellence than with the candidate’s specific area of expertise. However, we hope to recruit one candidate who has strengths in the teaching of forensic psychology, should a suitable applicant meet all other criteria.
You will have a good honours degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent experience) and a PhD in a relevant subject area. You will have a track record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals and experience of designing and delivering high-quality, research-led teaching, ideally with a recognised teaching qualification.
