Associate Lecturer in Cosmetic Science

University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts. The Fashion Business School are seeking a part-time hourly-paid Associate Lecturer in Cosmetic Science to teach specialist units on our integrated Masters in Cosmetic Science course. We have approximately 100 hours across the academic year.

Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will also have the chance to develop your knowledge in the context of cosmetic science and to learn in a supportive environment and to enhance your career.You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

You will have knowledge and experience in applied and analytical chemistry or pharmacology, as well as some experience in formulating and testing cosmetic products. You will also have an experience with planning and delivering teaching and assessment. You will be committed to working within a team and will be contributing specialist knowledge to a range of student-focused and/or research projects.
