Starting Salary: £32,004 p.a.

Applications are invited for the above fixed-term full-time post working on Bluefish Project in the Marine Centre Wales, Menai Bridge under the overall direction of Dr Shelagh Malham and Esther Howie.

The scheme has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a Molecular microbial ecology or a related discipline. Expertise in toxin production with a focus on shellfish or a related discipline is desirable, The candidate will be expected to work closely with collaborating partners in the Interreg area and fishery and aquaculture related SMEs and intermediate bodies.

The post will be expected to commence 1st July 2017 or a soon as possible thereafter and is available until 31st December 2020.
