Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a lecturer in psychology to help maintain the significant growth in the department over the last few years. Specifically we are looking to develop and sharpen our current portfolio with the introduction of degree routes designed to enhance our national and international recruitment reach and further develop the diversity of specialisms within psychology.

There is scope to advance your own line of research and applied work in collaboration with colleagues from a variety of disciplines in the University. We are seeking a psychologist who will contribute across the curriculum and other topics appropriate to undergraduate teaching, with an interest in employability and skills development. The department would welcome applications in all areas of Psychology but would particularly welcome applications in the areas of counselling, coaching, or mentoring. We welcome applications from psychologists with a PhD or approaching a PhD submission, those with professional qualifications and teaching experience within counselling, a good and developing publishing record and those keen to add to a coherent and dynamic research environment preferably within the themes of information processing, learning and cognition, person in social context (including critical psychology) and health and wellbeing.
