This is a fixed term appointment for 13 months.

You will join one of the world’s best known human geography groups working on urbanisation, planning, and development, in a Department which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in the Department on the BA in Human Geography, MSc Urbanisation and Development, and MSc Regional and Urban Planning Studies, as well as carrying out administrative duties.

Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant subject. In addition, candidates should have expertise in the field of human geography and in particular in development and/or planning in the Global South. Some experience of university-level teaching is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a developing research record in development geography, urbanisation, and/or planning in the Global South, and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
