The Dr William M Scholl fund in collaboration with The James Lind Alliance (JLA) has agreed to commission a national Priority-Setting-Partnership (PSP) to identify the most important foot health research questions which matter to patients and clinicians.

The primary outcome of this research will be to generate ten key priorities for research funding which will underpin the research strategy of the Scholl Endowment Fund as well as informing other research funding bodies eg National Institute for Health Research.

We are seeking to recruit a professional lead into this role who will work alongside a JLA advisor who will chair the steering group, and the project co-ordinator The professional lead should be an experienced clinician/researcher who has a successful track record in project management, knows the key stakeholders engaged in foot health and has expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The project has been fully costed including the professional lead’s travel and subsistence expenses.  The committee will typically meet on 12-15 occasions of which 4-6 will be face-to-face meeting and the remainder by teleconference.
