QA Higher Education is a private UK Higher Education provider, currently partnering with universities, colleges and education specialists across the UK to recruit, market and deliver a range of programmes from foundation level, to undergraduate and postgraduate level.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly motivated and results oriented team within the wider student recruitment operation. We are looking for a dynamic and engaging individual to join the team with the purpose of driving Home/EU student recruitment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role of Student Recruitment Officer provides fantastic opportunities for personal development and career progression.

The successful candidate will be able to act independently and apply an understanding of the business environment in order to offer input to the regional plan and be effective at various events.  You will be able to pro-actively identify problems and seek solutions in order to take a flexible approach. It is beneficial that candidates has previous Higher Education experience (preferably within student recruitment) or relevant commercial experience.

You will be required to work closely with a successful team who will advise and guide you throughout the role. You will be responsible for to identifying market opportunities and supporting the student recruitment activities to achieve your KPIs. You will manage, develop and maintain external client relationships with student recruitment agencies, colleges, local communities alongside working closely with our marketing team to drive direct student recruitment. As part of the role you will be required to attend various events and deliver presentations as well as run various workshops. Some international travel and weekend work might be required.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience of Student/Graduate Recruitment experience, ideally working within Higher Education
  • Experience of working within local communities, attending and organising outreach marketing events
  • Proven experience of increasing brand awareness
  • Experience of developing student recruitment channels or effective account management
  • Capable of building multiple working stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and deliver against them
  • Persistent, tenacious and collaborative
