The Department of Classics and Ancient History is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to a one-year fixed-term teaching fellowship in ancient history for the academic year 2017/18 (01 October 2017 – 31 September 2018).

The successful applicant will contribute to research-led teaching of ancient history at all levels, and will also be required to make a contribution to the teaching of Latin and/or ancient Greek. The successful candidate should have a research specialism in some aspect of ancient history, which is an area in which the Department has particular teaching needs.
