The School of English and Languages brings together the academic disciplines of English literature, creative writing, modern languages, linguistics, and translation studies. The School also runs an institution-wide language programme which gives all students in the University the opportunity to study a language, irrespective of their degree scheme, and leads to the Global Graduate Award in Languages.

The School of English and Languages is looking for a part-time Associate Tutor to teach German on its Global Graduate Award programme to start w/c 2 October, 2017. Teaching required for the role is6 hours a week over 19 weeks (2 semesters). At least 4 of these hours will be on a Wednesday afternoon.

Applicants should hold a first degree, a teaching qualification, and have teaching experience. A Masters degree and a background in teaching in the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.
