Teaching Fellow in South Asian Religions

Do you have proven skills as a teacher of South Asian Religions? Do you have the ability to motivate and inspire learners? Do you have a clear commitment to creating and delivering an excellent student experience?

You will carry out undergraduate teaching in Theology and Religious Studies, with a particular focus on South Asian Religions. You will design and deliver lectures and seminars on Undergraduate modules and may also be asked to participate in dissertation supervision and postgraduate teaching. You will take an active role in the citizenship of the School by contributing to open days and to induction and study skills workshops and will be expected to engage with the School’s culture of interdisciplinary research and research-led teaching.

With a first degree and PhD (or a PhD close to completion) in Theology and Religious Studies or a closely allied discipline, you will have strong research background in South Asian Religions and of teaching in a University environment, with the ability to interact with students in ways that will enhance the student experience.
