We are looking to recruit a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Football Studies to play a key role in the delivery of the University’s highly regarded football programme. The successful candidate will have a first degree and a higher degree as well as academic/industry experience within a sport/football context. A PhD would be an advantage.

Specifically, we are seeking to recruit a candidate with expertise in the sociology of sport/football. Successful candidates will be required to plan, prepare, deliver classes and assess students on a range of units within their expertise. They will also supervise undergraduate dissertations, and engage in a range of research, innovation and knowledge transfer activities.
