The Department of Biological Sciences, within the School of Life Sciences and Education, is a small but expanding unit of talented and flexible academics.  Our research strengths currently focus on Biological Science, but we are developing our Biomedical and applied cross-disciplinary research areas. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic microbiologist to join our dynamic team of experienced academics delivering programmes from level 4 through to level 8 and across Biomedical, Biological and Healthcare Sciences.

 Our course portfolio currently offers two main foci;
