Front Office Manager (Credit and Collections)

The Finance team at the University of Reading has undergone a major transformation in the way it delivers its services to both internal and external stakeholders and to meet the ambitious growth and challenges that the University has set itself. A new opportunity has arisen within the Transactional Services Team leading a large Collections & Cash team.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure timely collection, allocation & reconciliation of all payments that are made to the University of Reading. We have a diverse international customer base ranging from students to large corporations.

The role also oversees the adherence to any collection or credit management policy to ensure that the risk of exposure is reduced to acceptable levels without impacting the ability for the University’s ability to maintain or increase revenue streams.

You will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of working and managing in a collections environment (B2B & B2C).
  • A drive & want to make a difference.
  • The ability to communicate at different levels around the University.
  • The ability to use your own initiative.
  • Good systems knowledge including Agresso & MS Excel.
