Lecturer in Clinical Psychology

Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology in the School of Health in Social Science.  The University wishes to appoint to this post a qualified clinical psychologist with a proven record of excellence in research and teaching.  Applications are welcome from candidates with research and clinical specialisms in clinical psychology and psychological therapy research.  Contribution to course organisation, teaching and research supervision will be to students on a range of MSc programmes and the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  The Section of Clinical Psychology houses our new Centre for Applied Developmental Psychology and Mental Health, which is focused on risk and resilience in relation to mental health and wellbeing in children and young people and the development of current psychological models of emotional distress and mental health; as well as a number of active research group in the area of psychological therapies development and evaluation, psychosis, forensic and health psychology

The successful candidate will have an outstanding record of academic leadership in research and teaching. He or she will be qualified as a practitioner psychologist (HCPC).

This position is full time, 35 hours per week and open ended.

Salary: £39,324 - £46,924 per annum
